The past six months have been challenging for school districts across the Midwest and the United States, as they have created new policies and plans to keep students, staff, and communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Communication is more important than ever, ensuring parents and families have the most up-to-date information available for academics, activities, and athletics.

Last week, we heard from two of our longtime school clients, wondering if we could work with them to build a dashboard for sharing COVID-19 information. Within a few days, we built a new dashboard for these districts so anyone can view available data in a visual format. Interactive charts display daily absence rates by building along with detailed breakouts of COVID-19 positive or quarantined students or staff members.

Cardinal Schools COVID-19 Dashboard

Best of all, the dashboards are built to be easy for district staff to update, logging into our proprietary Neapolitan Labs for Education platform to enter daily numbers. Since launching the dashboard for Cardinal Schools in Eldon, Iowa, we’ve built and launched additional dashboards for Pleasantville, Ogden, and Woodward-Granger.

Are you a school administrator who would like to launch a dashboard for your district? We can work with you to set one up in as little as 5 days, whether you are a Neapolitan Labs client or not. Just drop an email to hello@neapolitanlabs.com to get started.
